The Cucumber Hero

Ingredients:

  • 1 cucumber (to make 50ml cucumber juice)
  • 40ml London Dry Gin
  • 15ml dry vermouth
  • 10ml lemon juice
  • 5ml TABASCO® Green Sauce
  • Pinch of salt

Garnish:

  • 1 baby pickled gherkin

Preparation

  1. For the cucumber juice, cut one cucumber into 6 smaller pieces (no need to peel or de-seed) and pass through a juicer or blender. If using a blender, strain the juice through a fine muslin cloth into a glass. Any leftover juice will keep in the fridge for around 2 days.
  2. For the cocktail, combine all the ingredients, including the cucumber juice, in a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake vigorously for 8 seconds. Strain through a fine cocktail strainer into a chilled coupette, or margarita glass. Garnish with the baby pickled gherkin.
